This traditional waste to energy plant operates two separate production lines to incinerate the waste and produce electricity. The plant has a strong operational track record for several decades. In 2004 the management decided to start with experimenting shockwave cleaning with gas balloons to reduce production loss with an alternative supplier. These results disappointed but achieved interest for shockwave cleaning. This enabled OCA to pilot linear cleaning in the boiler, cold trap and the slope. The results were perceived so positive by plant management which enabled them to reduce the shutdowns each year and increase production. The cooperation is sustainable for over 13 years now already!
